SUMMARY

SUMMARY:

Metal Sheeting are very challenging however it is worth learning much more skills
in Laser cutting as well as reflecting the whole chosen object to my own discipline

As a Great reflection of my model to

GUGGENHEIM MUSEUM  - FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT

This are created with ORGANIC FORMS which is a form that is loose and undefined.

One of the most used and important shape for the MODERN ARCHITECTURE

~

The term "ORGANIC ARCHITECTURE" was made famous when Frank Lloyd Wright used it to describe his particular approach to architecture SUCH AS GUGGENHEIM MUSEUM

ONE of his iconic and recognising BUILDING that has the strong ORGANIC element to it.

Which has the similarity in forms to the object "DOME NUT"

Similarity :

1: Museum Interior where acceding Levels generate the SPIRAL EFFECT where this could be also seen inside of the Dome Nut as well

2: Museum Exterior of the ORGANIC CURVE SIDES of the main museum vs STRAIGHT LINES Located at the entrance also appear at the Dome Nut as well

Through the whole process it is important and challenging to control the metal shaping are
STRETCHING AND COMPRESS methods
Where some places needed to control the limit modifying or else it will ripped open
Hard to control as defining a place will cause other part of the model to RESHAPED
As well as modifying curves can't just defined on ONE go
Repeat and Repeat
Modify and Modify
AGAIN AND AGAIN!

Don't scared to Try and Experiment very various of metal
and ask for help form tutor and friends
It will be a great fun know so much about different organic shape
and detailing of how to modify

KEPT EXPERIMENTING
REPEAT PROCESSES
BE PATIENT AND YOU'RE SURPRISED ON WHAT YOU GET FROM IT
AND HAVE FUN
